Yamaha announces RX-V467 and RX-V567 amplifiers loaded with all you can think of and 3D-Ready
Yamaha Japan has just announced two new high-end amps for the home theatre lovers. The RX-V467 and RX-V567 are designed to offer the end users quite a bit of quality sound with features meeting all of the latest trends and specifics. For instance, the amps are 3D-Ready, offer Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio. In the surround sound section they comes with HD AHD Audio decoding with CINEMA DSP (17 DSP programmes), SILENT CINEMA and Virtual CINEMA DSP among others. Both amps are also capable of Analog video upscaling to full HD 1080p which is a big deal. They offer HDMI inputs as well iPod/iPhone compatibility. If you do want to hook up your device or handset to these amps you’re going to need the optional YDS-11/12 Universal Dock.
The RX-V467 first is a 5-channel A/V receiver and the Yamaha RX-V567 is a 7-channel model with assignable amplifiers for bi-amp connection. Those are some seriously high-end features. The RX-V467 will be out in June for 49,350 yen ($527) and the RX-V567 is priced at 61,950 yen ($662). Both will be out in June.
