Xbox 360 can detect heart attacks too?
Surely the ones who designed and built the graphics (hardware and software) of the Xbox 360 have never thought that their wonder gaming product could save lives and that too, effectively. Researchers believe that the GPU inside the Xbox 360 could be powerful enough to over power the capabilities of the heart scanning machines that already exist. Thus, the time taken to detect heart ailments reduces drastically when scanned with the aforementioned, awesome GPU. I always told my nagging mother that sitting all day on the console would pay off. These aren’t just bloody toys!
It is good news that Microsoft is helping the needy, even though this aid seems unintentional. This research was done in the University of Warwick.
