Windows 8 demoed at Build 2011 conference
Microsoft demoed its Windows 8 tablet at the company’s Build 2011 conference and left on-lookers surprised with impressive concoction of features. There were a few bugs and hiccups during the demonstration but that certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the fans. The Os seems to have borrowed certain design elements from Windows Phone 7 but that doesn’t mean you call it an enlarged version of the same. Some of the highlights were the Tile-based Metro Style UI, IE 10, Retooled task manager and control panel, ARM processor and others.
