Windows 7 officially named and more details released
The basic architecture underlying Windows 7 is the same as that for Vista, so computers that run Vista will also be able to run Windows 7. We had shown you a Sneak peak at some screenshots of Windows 7 in action a few weeks back, but now there are more details available.There have been plenty of eye candy modifications like the new taskbar with its MAC like visuals and the entire OS’s adaptability towards being Touch enabled. The new Media player even sports a Zune like interface. Even the minimizing and maximizing features appear to have been ripped off the MAC. Windows 7 now supports machines with up to 256 CPUs giving it a fair chance to deal with its rivals.
