It is said to be based on a very different hardware that will screen HD visuals, include more, expanded storage and run using digitally distributed content rather than physical discs, which seems to be the norm for future consoles. Till the new console doesn't come out, it may be a good idea to wear your current one out, after all three years is still quite far away!
