What we want to see in the next gen iPhone or the 4G, wishful thinking or not

While there are some parts of the planet that are still awaiting the arrival of the iPhone 3GS, (yes it’s sad, I know), the rest of the glob is gearing up for the next generation device, what could be the iPhone 4G. Naturally in anticipation of the device a few sites like Cnet have showcased what they think should be or could be improvements in the new device. Here are a few ideas I’m totally on board with, Mr. Jobs, I hope you’re reading this.

Number 1 – Expandable memory – Sure Apple has provided plenty of onboard memory but I’d love to have that little leverage of using some of the extra memory cards I have laying around. Of this would also mean that Apple would also need to allow for non iTunes transferred media and data to be acceptable. Wishful thinking, I know.

Number 2 – More Bluetooth Connectivity – With the iPhone 4G or whatever it’s going to be called, I’d like to see the Bluetooth radio getting a serious update. I want to see file transfer of all kinds of data and A2DP support as well.

Number 3 – Improved Battery Life – I’m not saying that the 3GS’ average battery life is poor but it’s certainly not one that doesn’t bare a complaint every now and again. So it’s only fair to expect something better in next device isn’t it?
