Weasley Clock gets real with a touch of Twitter
Mr. Weasley would never guess that the muggles managed to get this far without manage. They even cooked up a recipe to ape the clock that adorns their run down kitchen. If you’re not a Harry Potter fan then this will be nothing more than some mumble-jumble for you, so let me make it simpler. The Weaseley watch described in the book has hands for each family member and instead of numbers, it has various activities around its face which include sleeping, playing Quid ditch and even mortal danger. The hands provide Mrs. Weaseley with updates on the whereabouts of her offspring. Similarly the watch takes feeds from each family members Twitter account and searches for locations based on the keywords entered.
“Individual's hands are driven to point to the relevant location on the dial, with a choice of Home, Lost, Texas, Traveling, Prison, Work, Church, Minnesota, School, Read Me, Doctor and, yes, Mortal Peril (though since G.W. Bush's power has waned, it probably won't point here often).” Pretty innovative I think.
