Visible shockwave around a low flying jet
The above photo captures the shockwaves produced by a F/A-18A Hornet of the Blue Angels. The shockwaves are clearly visible engine intake and above the canopy as the jet performs a sneak pass at San Francisco Fleet Week 2007.
