Virtual potter’s wheel uses 3-D printer and 3-D scanning cameras
Unfold and Tim Knapen have made it possible to give you some basic training in pottery without soiling your hands. Yes! You can now make use of the awesome 3D ceramic printer by Unfold and convert ceramic powder into solid forms with the help of a coiling technique. Knapen have contributed by providing some cool 3D scanning cameras that study your hand movements.
It would be great to have a video of this, not only to see how it’s done but also to prove to ourselves that there exists such a marvel of technology.
