Virtual grocery shopping, now in Korean subway stations
Grocery shopping in Korea just got a lot easier! Now, travelers at subway stations can pick up grocery shop, while they await the arrival of their subway trains. The system introduced at subway stations uses a bunch of picture of products, each with a QR code, that shoppers can simply detect using their smartphones, select the required quantities of the products they wish to buy and add it all to a virtual shopping cart, which is then used by stores to send the products ordered home! So, grocery shopping now turns into an activity that doesn’t require a visit to the store whatsoever, with your smart-phone and the virtual-shopping system at subway stations doing it all for you!
