The portability of NextComputing's Vigor Evo HD super-rugged computer is quite questionable. The company says that the device is portable (and has a handle on top to prove it), but in the same breath they say it weighs under 20 pounds. The PC has a 17-inch LCD on the side of its case and is described as "highest-performance rugged workstation," with 3-terabyte hard drive, dual-layer DVD writer, choice of Intel or AMD processors, rubber shock absorbers, and a "floating chassis" that allegedly can handle whatever is thrown its way.
