Sweeter than the cocoa version, Verizon's new LG Chocolate looks like a yummy treat. The success of the VX8500 last year mirrors the VX8550 anticipation. The new one is slightly slimmer by a few hundredths of an inch off every dimension plus the new keypad with touch feedback called Trace Motion is cool. The Trace Motion is some sort of lighting that works in juxtaposition with the new navigation wheel. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD slot, and pro-music-related features. The phone does not have the 3.5mm jack.

Verizon's new LG Chocolate VX8550 will come out on July 9 in your choice of "Black Cherry" and "Blue Mint." No word on pricing.
