One of the latest portable speaker devices from Japan is the UMAZONe meaning master of horse (at least that’s what the translator told me). It’s USB 2.0 powered speaker capable of 0.35W × 2ch output though a 38mm diameter speaker unit located on the bottom. That’s not all that bad. Its highlight is that it’s designed as a vacuum tube amplifier with LED flashing lights which gives it a very classic and yet modern look and feel. It’s fully compatible with Windows XP/Vista and 7. The UMAZONe speaker weighs in at just 220g and has dimensions of 125 × 98 × 80mm (width × height × depth). It’s priced at about $25 and is available in two colors Color Silver and Black.
