You’ve heard of Herbie now meet Urbee. Designed for the 2010 X-Prize Competition, Urbee is not just an eco-friendly vehicle but it’s also the only one that’s entire body has been designed and generated using 3-D printing technology. It’s a gasoline/ethanol hybrid car that really doesn’t look like a full grown adult if average height would be able to slide into comfortably. It’s been designed by Stratasys and Kor Ecologic and can actually hit 200 mpg on the highway and 100 mpg in city conditions on either fuel source. With all kinds of 3D tech taking the world by storm, Urbee is just another step in a new age of technological advancement.
