Unannounced BlackBerry 8910 Curve shows up in Case-Mate booth at CES, buy the case then wait for the phone
Sometimes the best way to find out about a new device that’s been nothing more than a shadowy rumour is to check out companies that manufacture accessories, especially cases and mods. It always seem like these guys have more info on new devices than anyone else as there’s always a listing of an unknown or rumoured device on their sites. In a recent BlackBerry ‘incident’, a report from this year’s CES showcased a new BlackBerry model, the 8910 Curve, that showed up at a very unlikely booth. The handset, or least a dummy piece, was present at the Case-Mate booth showcasing a Fuel Lite battery pack/case. The specs are still just speculative. The handset could feature 256 MB RAM, with Wi-Fi capabilities and a 3.2-mp shooter but might not be 3G ready. We’ll just have to wait and see what RIM announces. In the mean time, if you’re interested, you could go ahead and buy the case though.
