Future cars wont be having speedometers and other dials on the dashboard instead the information would be projected on the windshield. Superimaging Japan is already working on it and as seen in the video it has developed a prototype. The projector uses UV light which is converted to normal light when it hits the 'media glass' which is a normal glass treated with a special film. No information on when the technology will be fully commercialized.
