A local London band, the Mentalists, recently performed a live cover of MGMT’s “Kids”. While that’s not really news, the interesting part about the performance is that it was performed using only apps found on the Apple App Store. The applications used during the performance included Ocarina, Retro Synth, miniSynth, and DigiDrummer Lite and were performed on both iPhones and iPod Touches. A truly creative band when it comes to using the latest technology while being portable at the same time.
