Toshiba is out with a rather odd looking mini TV like Digital Photo Frame (DPF). At least that’s what I think it is. The translation is a bit vague. The device called the TY- SDP7 or the Audio Photo Box which is just a fancy name for a DPF. It’s equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD that sports a 320 x 240 pixel resolution like a mobile handset. It features everything you’d find in any of toady’s DPFs, including an FM radio, memory card support and of course music playback and an alarm and calendar function. It also comes with a built in speaker and earphone socket as well It’ll be available in Japan for 9,000 Yen which works up to about $96 (USD) in two colors black and white. I’m not sure why anyone would want a DPF with such a tiny screen but I guess it takes all kinds for someone to build it.
