Toshiba to bring out 22”, 3840x2400 monitor
When you are one of the premier tech companies in the world a lot is expected from you. You are expected to dish out unexpected stuff like a 22" "super Kousei small LCD monitor" with a resolution of 3840x2400 (WQUXGA), translated to 200 dots per inch! Oh…did I mention that the honor goes to Toshiba and they even admit that the contrast ratio is 300:1. How cool is that!
Toshiba’s 22”, 3840x2400 monitor will be out in Japan for 2,079,000 Yen (about $18,000). The XP-compatible PCI card required to run it will cost another 312,900 Yen ($2,700).
