Toshiba Japan is selling the HD-XA1 HD-DVD player which can playback HD-DVD / DVD / CD and DVD-RW/RAM discs. It includes four DSP engines for audio output and will support native HD in 720p and 1080i. With the multiple output interfaces it also includes HDMI output. The unit measures 437 x 354 x 115mm and weighs 8.9 kg. The unit will ship with two HD-DVD's namely "Moonlight Jellyfish" and "Resident Evil". The HD-XA1 is available for 100,000 Yen ($ 850)
