Toshiba Japan has unveiled the Gigashot GSC-DW1 DVD burner. It is PCless and allows you to connect a DV Cam and burn the video on a DVD disc. It sports a USB port for connecting digital cameras and storing the photographs on a disc. It has HDMI output so the recorded content can be viewed on the big screen, the supplied remote control makes it great for watching movies as well. It is powered by an AC adapter, measures 238×167×61mm, weighs 1050 grams and will be available in Japan from March 17 for 17,800 Yen ($ 170).
