Toshiba Japan has added two new flash memory based DAP's to its Gigabeat series. Enclosed in a smooth and shiny aluminium casing the U102 and U101 come with 2GB and 1GB of onboard memory apart from this the players have the same features. A 1.1 inch OLED display offers 96 x 96 resolution in addition to WMA/MP3/WAV it can play WM DRM 10 files too. Other features include FM radio and transmitter, 1 bit DAC and DCTSC system for superior audio quality,

The units measure 76.7×36.2×11.4 - 12.4mm, weigh 42 grams and will go on sale in Japan from May 19. The U102 will be available for 14,800 Yen ($ 123) and U202 for 17,800 Yen ($ 150)
