Toshiba has launched its colorful range of high capacity external HDD, they are available in four-color schemes: Electric Blue & Black, Carbon Grey, Hot Rod Red, and Gecko Green. The USB 2.0 device, offers a storage capacity of 400GB, which can store up to 114,000 digital photos, 105,000 MP3 music files, 177 hours of DVD videos or 47 hours of high-definition videos. Earlier this month, Toshiba launched three new 1.8-inch hard disk drives, which it stated are the world's largest capacity small form devices. The new drives may be offered in a colorful sleek, glossy chassis embedded with contemporary graphics, but the device has no stylish name to catch our attention.

The Toshiba external HDD will cost around $200 for the 400GB version, with prices differing according to capacities offered which are 320GB, 250GB, and 160GB. The HDD comes with a three-year warranty and is compatible with both the MAC and PC environments.
