Here’s what we’ve been waiting for so long. IFA, as we had heard, was to be the place for the Android tablet to be unveiled. The Folio 100 tablet is a 10.1 inch tablet that brags specifically about its Adobe Flash Player v10.1 support, full internet support, HD video compatibility and 7 hour battery life is surely quite suggestive of the overcoming of limitations that most of its contemporaries suffer from. (Let’s not take names for a change). Talking about the Folio 100 (only) we see the Froyo platform, a Nvidia TEGRA 2 CPU, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, DLNA compatibility, USB 2.0 client and hub, mini HDMI port, SD/MMC memory card reader, Adobe Flash player, 1.3 megapixel webcam and software support by the means of applications such as Opera Mobile, Toshiba Mobile Player, FBReader, Fring, Document to Go and Evernote.
Word is that the Toshiba Folio 100 will be available in the UK from October 2010 for £329 ($507).
