Toshiba 9800M GTX high end gaming laptop - Beware Alienware

Toshiba_9800M_GTX_1.jpg The Toshiba Qosmio WXW/79GW promises to be one hell of a gaming laptop which packs in killers looks along with some serious hardware. Powering this beast is the next gen Intel Core 2 Duo processor along with 2GB of DDR3 memory. Ensuring that Crysis gets loaded in a jiffy is the 64GB SSD drive along with a 160GB 7200 SATA hard drive. Graphics on the 17 inch WSXGA+ (1,680×1,050) will be powered by the yet to be announced GeForce 9800M GTX graphics card which has 1GB of video memory. Specs include 1.3 Megapixel camera, 4 in 1 card reader, HDMI out, USB, Firewire, WLAN, DVD super drive etc. Going an extra mile, the back of the LCD has a flame design. The Toshiba 9800M GTX measures 412×306×43.2 - 62.5mm and weighs 4.3 kgs which is justified considering the hardware it packs in. The unit goes on sale by late July in Japan with the SSD model selling for 348,000 Yen ($ 3500).
