Top 5 things iPhone 2 should have
Author Dan Tynan of PCWorld has some problems with the way Apple is relaxed about the iPhone. He has taken it upon himself to write a letter to Steve Jobs and highlight things that Apple is not paying attention at. His 'pain' points being
1. Keyboard
Now I do agree that the Multi-touch screen is cool to look at the first time u see it but no one can ignore the fact that after the WOW period is over typing a text message in a crowded subway with one hand is not just annoying, its unsafe as well. Its time Steve adds in a slider keyboard of sorts.
2. 3G
Sure GPRS &EDGE were the rage half a decade ago but why stick to something old when new technology is there for us to use. Nothing sucks like a bad internet connection
3. GPS embedded
The rumor mill says GPS will be part of the longed-for-but-still-theoretical 3G iPhone.
4. More multimedia
What's the point of having a 2 megapixel camera and not be able to email it to anyone? No flash meaning the web plug-in, while we are at it add a nice light flash too.
5. Make it more open source
Hey it's a fact the iPhone is the most hacked device of this century, well that and the ps2 I guess. Nevertheless, maybe it is time Steve listens to the consumers and let them choose the carrier instead of just depending on AT&T. Give developers more control too.
