Tokyo's sewer - Simply Awesome
The above picture might look like a rendering done by some Maya expert but it is actually Tokyo's underground sewer system. No wonder inspite of heavy rains Tokyo never gets flodded.

This isn't a sewer system. It's a water control system. The only thing that flows through these pipes is water, not sewage.
Anyway, I saw a Discovery/History channel special on this, and is a pretty awesome system.
