A new mini camcorder called the “Toffy digital movie camera” (TF62-DMC) has hit the Japanese market and will be available from May 13. It’s going come in four vibrant colors like Cherry Pink (CPK), the Lime Green (LGR), Chocolate Brown (CBR) and Sugar White (SWH). It’s a camera that’s apparently designed for the ladies. It’s lightweight at 100g and features a 3.1MP CMOS sensor with 4x digital zoom and records in animated picture MotionJPEG (AVI) at a VGA resolution i.e. 640480 pixels. You can also shot images (2,5921,944 pixels) and record just voice in WAV format which you can also use to add voice to your stills. The Toffy digital movie cameras also support SD/SDHC card (up to 8GB) and MMC (up to 2GB). They also come with a 1.5-inch TFT LCD. An AV out and USB port are also built in. It’s priced at 9,975 Yen which works out to about $107 (USD).
