T-Mobile MDA Compact III with GPS

t-mobile-mda-compact-iii.jpgThe T-Mobile MDA Compact III comes in as a HTC P3300 clone. Now what’s keeping everyone hanging is – which of the two are a better buy? The MDA Compact has a 2.0 MP shooter for clear and good imaging all viewable on a 240x320 pixel resolution LCD (65k color support). It provides with GPRS and EDGE capabilities and rides on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 network. A whopping 5 hours talk limit before the batteries wear out is an impressive feature added by T-Mobile. Being driven by Windows Mobile, it facilitates working on various Microsoft Office documents. All these and other features like Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity, a web browser, expandable memory (microSD) and FM radio support are (amazingly) similar to the HTC P3300. And to add to the list of similarities between both handsets, the MDA has an in-built GPS system along with satellite navigation capabilities. There is a lot of speculation that it has both, the TomTom and the T-Mobile NaviGate system. We do not know how true this is yet as these speculations are purely based on observations made during advertisements.

The T-Mobile MDA Compact III can cost you up to $245.
