Chinese maker Thomson's latest PMP is called the V888 and believes in the sliding action. The booty under the slide reveals a unique control panel that hosts four-directional keys, volume up and down, select, home and another set of four keys using the four letters in the alphabet X, Y, A, B. the playet supports MPEG, Mpeg4, Divx ( 3.11,4. X, 5.x) Xvid, MOV, WMV (7.8), AVI, ASF.VOB and H.263 video in video file for mats. For the audio it supports MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC lossless. The 4" TFT screen with 16 million colors displays crisp pictures. The player supports games as well.

With the Thomson V888 you can view your photos as it supports PEG / BMP / PNG / TIFF / GIF formats. The player is available in China for around $132. The only drawback of the player seems to be it's bulky size.
