The ZipShot camera stand is a ‘snap’ to open and easy to tote around

For a photographer, ether a professional or an enthusiast and I know a few, their camera equipment, especially a tripod, is absolutely essential. One problem I’ve seen most face is finding a comfortably way to carry it. Even though most, if not all, are designed to collapse, it’s still quite large to fit into a suitcase so they always end up spending large sums of money on separate cases. However a company called Tamrac has devised an ingenious camera tripod that will make transportation woes dissipate for the avid shutter bug.

The ZipShot tripod uses tent pole-like aluminium legs to make it super compact when folded. It comes up to just 15-inches when folded and weighs in at 312g which makes it quite easy to carry around. It’s designed to snap open in seconds when the clasps are released and will stand at 44-inches. It’s also equipped with a heavy-duty, metal ball-head. It can support at least three pounds of weight which works out to the weight of a few DSLRS. The ZipShot tripod is priced at $50. It’s more expensive than tent poles but as easy to carry around.
