One of the hottest phones has made its way to Japans retail heaven this year. It’s the Toshiba T-01A, which was launched as TG01 back in February. This ultra slim phone, which is less than a centimetre thick, runs on Qualcomm's ultra-fast 1GHz Snapdragon chipset. The T-01A sports a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) resistive touchscreen display; HSDPA, GPS, and WiFi radios. It also has a custom-built UI meant to mask its Windows Mobile 6.1 core with a bit of Rothko misdirection. Now that the phone is released in Japan, we hope it makes its way to Europe and other markets as well.
