The sexy looking 2010 BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is now official

2010_BMW_ActiveHybrid_X6_1.jpg My dream car is always and will remain the BMW. I don’t know why but I just love the car. The first time I saw the BMW X6, I was even more in love with that machine. Of course I know there are better cars out there but BMW is something different. And now even better is the new 2010 BMW X6 which is an ActiveHybrid. The X6 is a gas-electric, will be dubbed as the most powerful hybrid in history with a 480 peak horsepower and a diesel like plateau of 575 lb of torque. The impressive powertrain consists of twin electric motors delivering 91 hp and 86 hp respectively and comes with a twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8 engine. Now that is some power! This beauty will come with a 7 speed dual mode transmission and also the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. You can reach 60 miles per hour in just 5.4 seconds which is excellent considering the size of this SUV. The top speed has been limited to 130 miles per hour. The German automaker is expecting an 18 miles a gallon mileage which is 20% higher than the conventional one. It is scheduled for its official debut in Frankfurt Motor Show in September and sale is expected in fourth quarter of 2009.
