The PS3 finally gets a hack by OzModChips available on USB for pre order
So far the PS3 has proven to be a pain in the… console, for hacker. They tried and failed and Sony has sat back and scoffed at them. But that’s all in the past now as an Australian online store called OzModChips is claiming that they have a thumb drive that’s loaded up with the world’s first PS3 Modchip. The drive is also available for a pre-order sale price of $169AUD which works out to about $150. That’s not too bad, I guess, if you really want to hack the device just to copy games from discs and install them on the hard drive and play pirated games. This particular hack, is also apparently workable on any model of the PS3 (including the slim). I say think very hard and long before placing your order.
