Images of the new Lamborghini LP550-2 have been leaked online ahead of the car’s official launch. Details of this beauty are still scarce but some things can be inferred from the name itself like it could be packed with 550 HP and rear-wheel drive. Unlike the Gallardo LP560-4, the LP550-2 is slightly detuned version of Lamborghini’s 5.2L V10. This makes it weigh 66 pounds less. Performance figures are not known but then you can bet it will do 0-60 somewhere in 3 seconds. Come on! It’s a Lamborghini; you can’t expect anything less, can you? Oh yes! And a top speed of 220 miles an hour. We are expecting it to be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and production of this little beauty could be capped at 250 units.
