Mask of Emotion is actually a half-dome mask that displays digital emoticons in place of actually expressions. The research project created at the Digital Media Design department at Hongik University in Korea, features LEDs that display basic emoticons, however the default expression is blank. Apparently the mask was created to "generate conversation and response in public spaces."
