The Ion iType makes typing a little more complicated on the iPhone
When the iPhone first made its appearance it was a time when the touchscreen handset was slowly gaining momentum and had quite a few kinks like dealing with the an onscreen keyboard that just didn’t do it. In case you’re still having that issue and looking for an easier way to type, Ion has just the solution. Like any device designed for an Apple product, the external keyboard for the iPhone is called the iType. Of occurs it’s not that simple, things never are with the iPhone. The keyboard can only be used with a very specific application that you’ll have get off of the App Store. There’s no word on if it’ll be free. So the bottom line is you will not be able to use it with all the domestic apps on the handset. It seems small but doesn’t quite look it. It’ll be out in the second quarter of and will set you back about $60. I’d stick with the good old virtual version though.
