For those of you with a lot of time on your hands or just absolutely curious to know off beat information about random things, here’s a doozy. Ever wonder just how much the ‘Internet’ would weigh? No I bet not, but apparently there are few guys who did wonder and came up with a number, a weight to be more precise. Some of the guys down at CNET UK, after calculating the sum total of all peripherals, computers, mobile phones, laptops, netbooks and any other device that can connect to the internet they came up with this number - 498,438,559,990 kilograms. I’m not user how the weight of internet supported devices constitutes the weight of internet space, but I’ll go with it for now. I’m working on my own calculation; check back with me in a few decades, my math is really bad.
