The designation of Ferrari's latest road car is a tribute to the Italian marque's constructors' world championship of 2008. This year would also have seen Ferrari secure its 16th drivers' crown, but Felipe Massa was beaten by 1 point by Lewis Hamilton. The car sports a 4.3-liter V-8 engine pumping out some 503 horsepower. Ferrari says the 16M can blast from zero to 62 mph in a blistering 3.7 sec. on to a top speed of 195 mph.

The Scuderia Spider 16M will come in two color schemes: a standard black with gray livery or a tricolor theme. It is expected to cost about $320,000 and only 499 of them will ever be produced.
