New home theater receivers have been launched by Pioneer for its flagship Elite lineup. It includes the high-end SC-27 and SC-25 along with the low-end VSX-23TXH and VSX-21TXH. All the four has a composite or customized USB cable enabling integration with iPhones and iPods into home theater audio systems. Once you connect them, the iPods will be able to be controlled using the systems’ remote control. The SC series are very powerful to reproduce uncompressed Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks which are found in movies that are recorded on Blu-ray discs.

The Pioneer Elite SC-25 and the SC-27 will be available from this August onwards for a price of $1,700 and $2,000 respectively and Pioneer Elite VSX-23TXH and VSX-21TXH will be available for $900 and $700 respectively and will be available this month.
