I thought comic situations where your roommate/parents walk into your room, completely disregarding your “Do not disturb” sign, and catch you in a tight spot only happened in the movies. But unfortunately having shared a similar experience, I’m quite thankful to designer Arnaud Lapierre for creating something like the Doorknob Condition. This concept design ensures that no one enters your room, even by mistake! All you need to do is pull the knob on the inside of the room, which causes the knob on the outside to recess, becoming flush with the outside panel. So essentially when there is no doorknob to turn, there will be no accidental walk-ins! You know what I mean!
