Swine flu shuts down Google office in India for 2 days

google-india.jpg The Google office in Hyderabad, India had a nasty shock when they realized that one of their employees was diagnosed with swine flu. The flu that’s claiming hundreds across the globe has crept its way to Hyderabad, claiming another victim, a Google employee. It so happened that this employee met a staffer who arrived from Houston. So the roots of the virus are traced back to this staffer. Google decided to close its office for a couple of days to regroup from the shock and calm the strained nerves of employees. The office will be sanitized thoroughly to protect the 250 employees working there at the moment.

Hyderabad faces about 34 cases of swine flu at the moment and the test results of 21 more cases are expected. Looks like some employee will be ruing the holidays coming two days away from the weekend.
