Swatch Touch brings tangibility to time
Imagining watches with touch-sensitivity isn't exactly hard. There have been watches that tell the time and more, after responding to touch, for a while now. However, most being one off products by experimental manufacturers and concepts, we're taking joy in the fact that Swatch has made its mark in this market. The manufacturer has done away with the buttons and introduced a touchscreen that can be navigated to tell the time, time zones, set alarms, timers and beep minus.
The Swatch Touch series will come in various colors. The release date is October 1st and it will cost £100 ($156).
