Suima Crib – Put your crying baby to sleep mechanically
A bunch of researchers in Kyuushuu University in Japan have come out with this really out-of-the-box idea of rocking babies back to sleep mechanically. The crib has a baby cry sensor located on the top. As it senses the baby is crying, it swings the crib side to side every 1.8 seconds and claims to get your baby back to sleep. It comes with a safety net and dimensions of 60 cms wide and 30 cms height.
You can rent Suima Crib out for a $100 a month, if you want to try it out. If you are the one with the silver spoon in the mouth, you can shell out a neat $ 4500 - $ 5500 a piece. Go ahead and neglect your growing child. I know taking care of a baby is a full time job for both dad and mum. Cleaning the puke, changing the diapers, feeding the baby etc. or even watching it grow. Well, with this invention, you save your energy and time and leave it to the machines. My personal opinion – This is seriously not a good idea. It's your kid. You give your attention to it all the time. It's worth watching your own kid grow. It's something machines will never do, no matter how advanced they are.
