Starbucks iPhone apps may replace swipe cards

Starbucks_iPhone_apps.jpg It’s good to have something like Starbucks pushing your sales over the top. And as if the iPhone hasn’t reached its sales pinnacle already, we have the coffee giants busy, developing a couple of applications for their patrons who use the phone. The first application is called myStarbucks and acts as a store locater and beverage information tool. Users can see the nutrition value of the coffee or food that they pick. The other app can help users pay up the remaining credit on their cards. They can transfer money into it. Trust me, this one has its share of security precautions taken.

The Starbucks iPhone applications will give users a faster way to order and pick their favorite edible without much of a sweat. I like!
