Star Trek Home Theater - a history set in the future

Usually passion drives a man to forsake anything and anybody to pursue his/her obsession. Don’t know what Gary Sekulow has given up but he his passion for Star Trek has driven him to pay for two original “Star Trek” consoles, backlit graphic panels from Star Trek, a computer display panel from the Operation Center from “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and wall panels from “Star Trek: The Next Generation. WHEW! This accountant from Georgia procured all this from Christie’s auction to set up a realistic Star Trek themed home theater. Sekulow’s ideas were given shape by Dennis Erskine of Atlanta’s Design Cinema Privee. His dynamic home theater features Creston 1700 touch screen controller, Dell media center computer w/5 LCD Screens, Runco DTV-933 projector w/Tripler HDTV, sony PlayStation 3, stewart 110-inch curved Micropref screen and Triad Bronze in-wall speakers.

As all of the “Trek” effects seem to leave little room for audio and video equipment, Erskine installed everything behind a panel in a separate room which is also outfitted in the theme.
