It is common knowledge that Apple’s iPhone 4S has been doing some stupendous business just about everywhere. So much that the latest reports suggest that other smartphone makers in the industry are actually pushing their phone launches until at least Q2 2012. They are hoping that probably by then the iPhone hype will fizzle out thus paving the way for fresh handsets in the minds of consumers.

The list of smartphone giants who are pushing their finest devices further includes Samsung, HTC, Nokia, and LG as they want to avoid being slammed with the iPhone effect. They’ll however debut their new devices at this year’s MWC but won’t start shipping until later this year.
