Finally! A drop dead gorgeous non-teddy bear, non-pink, non-weird-shaped speaker system for your iPod. The SpekTone Retro speaker system looks sleek and deadly. In a choice of three shades – black, white and green – these speakers make a good sight (and sound). The 28 watt output provides some excellent sound from the two 3” drivers and a 4” subwoofer. The body is highly glossed and provides the ‘oh-so-retro’ look, in addition to this we have a volume know that has a green glow emitting from somewhere behind it. The speakers are well compatible with 4G, 5G, nano and the mini iPods. Connectivity can be achieved using the 1/8”suxillary jack. Although some may feel the absence of a remote, the system is a good buy indeed.

The SpekTone Retro can be purchased for around $85 from Amazon. This gizmo does show a lot of attitude, and its price is quite reasonable in the face of competition.
