Looks like the makers of Space invaders did something good with all the quarters that it gobbled up in my youth. Taito, the original makers of the classic arcade title, have come out with an alarm clock that is a tribute to the highly successful game of that time. As an alarm clock it does what it’s supposed to do with its clock, calendar, snooze button it also wakes you up with the sounds of the space invaders game. Touching the top of the device activates some really cool flashy lights as you wake up.

The Space Invaders alarm clock comes in three colors of Black, White, or Blue and costs around $75. The alarm requires two AA sized batteries to keep it going.
