The Sound ID 400 by CompanionLink is the next generation headset. It has a slim and nondescript appearance, three "Personal Sound" listening modes that improve speech clarity without volume, and "Environmental Mode" which allows you to keep the headset and hear sounds around you as well. It is compatible with an optional Sound ID CompanionLink Remote Microphone. Another feature is when you clip this to another person you can hear it better. I don’t know what this means though. This headsets other features are NoiseNavigation, a noise-canceling and DSP technology, and multi-point technology that lets you connect up to two devices at once. Both the Sound ID 400 and the Sound ID CompanionLink Remote Microphone will be available for $129.99 and $79.99 respectively later on this year.
